Boracay is a small island in the Philippines located approximately 315 km (196 mi) south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Boracay Island and its beaches have received awards from numerous travel publications and agencies.^{[Note 1]} The island comprises the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak municipality of Malay, province of Aklan. The island is administered by the Philippine Tourism Authority and the provincial government of Aklan. Apart from its white sand beaches, Boracay is also famous for being one of the world's top destination for relaxation. It is also emerging among the top destinations for tranquility and nightlife.^[11]
In 2012, Boracay was awarded as the best island in the world from the international travel magazine Travel + Leisure.

Transportation transfer -

From Manila you can choose two airports nearby Boracay Island, you can choose 1. Kalibo International Airport were Airbus are allowed on this airport, approximately 2 hours van or bus ride from Airport to Caticlan sea port. 2. Caticlan Airport were only small airplanes propeller plane mostly allowed 5min. ride from airport to Caticlan sea port.

From Caticlan sea port small boat tranfers are available for you to arrive in Boracay Island. Only 10min away from Caticlan.

Hotel Accomodations -

There's a lot of hotels are available in the Island, from 5 Star class Hotels to low class electricfan rooms =) .

Boracay white beach is compose of 3 stations,

Station 3 - the sand is not so fine with mix of stones and corals and white sands. - You can go for Water activities

Station 2 - the sand are so fine as a sugar and mostly people in the Island going here for Bars, Markets, Restaurants and everything are all here. -Alive at night time. Party =)

Station 1 - Were the sand are compare to Starch because of the finest and whitest sand. Classy Bars, Restaurants, Hotels, and others are here.

Activities in the Island - There's so plenty of activities to choose from to this island,

Island Hopping - You can rent boat located at station 3, from small boat good for 4 up to family/group size boats available.

Crocodile Island - (includes snorkeling (gaggles included on the boat max. 4) bring bread if necessary for the fish feeding. Registration fee 30 pesos per boat.

Puka Beach - Located at the other side of White Beach. Puka beach is clear and also white sand shore, I prefer to swim and snorkeling within this shore cause not crowded.
