Surigao Del Sur - Hidden Nature - Barobo & Britania Group of Islands

Surigao del Sur is a province of the Philippines located in the CARAGA region in Mindanao. Its capital is Tandag City and borders Surigao del Norte to the north, Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur to the west, and Davao Oriental to the south. Surigao del Sur is located at the eastern coast of Mindanao and faces the Philippine Sea.

GPS guide from Davao to Bislig City

 From Davao City we travel around 6 hours because we find other route to reach our destination. Because of climate tragedy, typhoon Pablo hit Compostela Valley and some part of Surigao. The 3-4 hours drive Davao-Surigao High Way was hit, so bridges and road is close for safety. As we drive along the hi-way (desidido) to go, we didnt expect other spots.

Barobo

As we rush search on web of what Barobo can offer, we find beach resorts along the hi-way to have some lunch. =)

I cant remember the resort name =)

As the resort offer us for Island Hopping, we didn't skip the chance of what this place can offer. We rented a motor banka cost 1,200 for us to tour there 3 island.

On our way to the small islands, amazed us ocean has no waves, its like we are on a big blue lake. With crystal clear water. wwooaahh.

We just spend around 4 hours to explore Barobo near by islands.

Their own version of Habal-habal.

  Day 2 - Island Hopping of Britannia group of Islands 

We rented 1,000 for boat good for 4 hours.

1st island

This is the first stop of the islets of Britania. Very quiet, peace island. And i assure you guys, this sand is compared to Boracay because its fine, white like a flour. Tho its not develop island, some locals held there wedding. Perfect. 

2nd island - pure sand in the middle of ocean

Britania Islands : Island hopping is very worth it activity to be experience.

Van transpo to Britania beach front - ???

Boat rental for island hopping - 1,000 / 4 hours ask front desk for proper itinerary arrangement 

Reminder : When you enter the road going to Britania - Pay toll amounting 50 pesos. 

Dont ask for there assistance specially the people on a single motor, because they are fixers. They will provide you the hotel arrangement on a higher cost. 

Just dont mind them =)
